DOWNTOWN RALEIGH ENGAGEMENT SESSION
I am so excited to share these engagement photos from CARA AND DANIEL’S engagement session in Downtown Raleigh AT THE BOYLAN BRIDGE AND DIX PARK! FROM THE CITY SKYLINE, THE WILDFLOWERS AT DIX TO THE UNFORGETTABLE SUNSET, THIS SESSION WAS BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVORITES TO CAPTURE!
When CARA reached out to me, she said someone she knew from WORK WAS ONE OF MY PREVIOUS CLIENTS WHOM I’D PHOTOGRAPHED THEIR ELOPEMENT IN BLOWING ROCK and she loved my photos so much she knew she’d want me as her photographer AND INQUIRED RIGHT AWAY. WE CONNECTED THAT SAME EVENING AND THE REST IS HISTORY!
CARA AND DANIEL are so sweet and I feel like we laughed throughout their entire engagement session. We did their engagement photos in THE DREAMEST SUMMER GOLDEN HOUR DOWNTOWN RALEIGH AT THE BOYLAN BRIDGE AND DIX PARK.
They chose to do two different outfits for their engagement session. This is always something I recommend to my couples to help them get lots of variety, and two different looks to choose from, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHANGING LOCATIONS. I recommend a dressier look for formal announcements, and a casual date night look! I love the looks they chose and they were SO perfect for BOTH LOCATION SETTINGS!
The Charm of Boylan Bridge
Perched on the western edge of downtown Raleigh, Boylan Bridge is more than just a crossing over the railroad; it's a gateway to the city's skyline. With views of iconic skyscrapers, historic buildings, and the lush treetops that frame Raleigh, it’s the perfect spot to blend urban energy with a sense of intimacy. The bridge itself is framed by old brick and offers an industrial touch that contrasts beautifully with the modern cityscape in the distance making it the perfect location to capture cara and daniel’s engagement session.
