I am so excited to share some of MARIA AND KENT’s Duke Gardens engagement photos with you! I absolutely ADORE these two, and I cannot wait for them to tie the knot next year in argentina!
Duke Gardens in Durham is a magical spot for engagement sessions. With its stunning variety of landscapes, from tranquil ponds and lush flower beds to elegant pathways and historic structures, it offers the perfect backdrop for capturing the love and excitement of an engaged couple AND I Recently had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session THERE FOR MARIA AND KENT.
WHEN MARIA INQUIRED FOR engagement photos, SHE loved the idea of taking photos at Duke Gardens! This is one of my all time favorite locations in the Raleigh-Durham area for photos. They do have a permit fee required, but it’s always worth it for the beautiful and unique backdrops THAT THE garden provides.
We started our session with a stroll through the pathways of Duke Gardens. The couple, dressed in soft, neutral tones that complemented the garden’s vibrant greenery, held hands as they explored the space together. The garden’s winding paths and blooming flowers offered a beautiful, natural setting for capturing candid moments—smiles, gentle touches, and shared laughter.
Photographing in Duke Gardens feels like stepping into a storybook. The couple’s joy and connection came through effortlessly as they walked hand in hand through the rose garden, creating images that felt authentic, timeless, and full of love.
